Acceptable Use Policy

Who these rules apply to

These rules apply to all Neuromia users and form an integral part of the
Terms of Use. They describe what material may not be created or published,
how we moderate the Community section and how to report a violation.

The Service is intended for persons aged 18 and over.

What may not be created

Sexual material. Generating pornographic and other sexualised material is
prohibited — whether it is intended for publication or for personal use. This follows
from Article 242 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which establishes
liability for the unlawful production and circulation of pornographic materials. The
same is required by the terms of the model providers the Service connects to.

Material involving minors — an absolute prohibition. Any sexualised material
involving or depicting minors is prohibited unconditionally. The prohibition also
covers fully synthetic images created without the involvement of real people, and
images of adults presented as minors (Articles 242.1, 242.2 of the Criminal Code).
Where such use is identified, the account is blocked immediately, funds are not
refunded, and the information is passed to law enforcement authorities.

Unlawful material. It is prohibited to create:

• extremist and terrorist material, justification of terrorism, symbols of prohibited
  organisations;
• propaganda of narcotic drugs or instructions for their manufacture;
• incitement to suicide and promotion of life-threatening activities;
• propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations, paedophilia and gender reassignment;
• knowingly false information about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and
  their discreditation;
• material inciting hatred or enmity, or insulting religious feelings;
• images of forged documents, banknotes, seals and signatures;
• instructions for manufacturing weapons, explosives or malicious software;
• pseudo-medical advice, offers of gambling or financial pyramid schemes.

Third-party rights. It is prohibited to create material that infringes the
exclusive rights of third parties, as well as realistic images and voices of real
people without their consent. By uploading a photograph or a voice recording you
confirm that you are entitled to use it (Articles 152.1, 152.2 of the Civil Code of
the Russian Federation). This applies to the Animate Photo feature, product cards and
any reference material.

The Community section

Publications in the shared feed are pre-moderated: material becomes visible to other
users only after review. We may reject a publication without stating reasons and may
also withdraw material that has already been approved.

Publication in the feed does not transfer responsibility for the content to us: the
author is responsible for what they created and published.

How to report

Every publication in the feed has a Report button. The report goes to a moderator and
the material enters the review queue. If the violation is confirmed, the publication
is withdrawn and the measures described below are applied to the author.

Reports from rights holders, authorised state bodies and users without access to the
report button should be sent to support@neuromia.ru. We review the report and
restrict access to the disputed material within twenty-four hours of receipt, unless
a different period is established by law. Please include a link to the material and
the nature of the violation.

Consequences of a violation

Depending on severity: removal of the material, withdrawal of the publication, a
warning, suspension of access, or a full account block without refund of funds and
the remaining credit balance. Where the circulation of the material constitutes a
criminal offence, the information is passed to law enforcement authorities.

A block can be appealed by writing to support@neuromia.ru.

These rules may change. The current version is always published on this page, with
the date of the latest update shown at the top.
