Share a frame with someone close
Combine two photos into one to create a shared image with a relative or friend. The template builds a scene from two separate pictures rather than placing them side by side. The result is an AI-generated image, not a documentary photograph: it does not establish that the people were together in that place. Use it as a creative portrait or part of a personal greeting.
Choose the occasion
Three options give the image different contexts:
- Simple portrait to keep attention on the two people.
- Family photo for an image with someone close to you.
- Celebration for a more festive mood.
If you share the result where it could be mistaken for a real event photograph, explain that it was generated with AI.
Pick compatible source pictures
To merge two photos with AI, start with sharp images and clearly visible faces. Similar angles and lighting can help: try two front-facing portraits without deep shadows. Avoid pairing a very small face in one picture with an extreme close-up in the other. The model preserves recognizable features of both people, but smaller details can change when it creates the shared scene.
Consent comes before uploading
Make sure both people consent to their photographs being used. Uploaded pictures are used only for generation. Add the two photos, choose a scene and select “Create this look”. Google's Nano Banana 2.1 usually produces a 2K result in 30–60 seconds. One shared image costs 6.6 credits: no subscription, pay as you go. The 10 bonus credits at registration cover your first result.
